 The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson
are part of over 4,000 Clubs across the United States, and U.S. Military
Bases world wide.
The Boys & Girls Clubs have hundreds
of members who attend one of four Club locations. Our program reaches many low
to moderate income youth with programming in Character &
Leadership; Education, Technology & Career
Development; Health & Life Skills; The Arts; and
Sports, Fitness & Recreation that might normally seem unaffordable or
inaccessible to them. Case studies show the results
can be as simple as a new sense of self-esteem and
higher academic achievement among participants, to
cases as dramatic as youth being directed away from
gang involvement.
The
Boys and Girls Club is now accepting secure online donations through Pay Pal.
YOUTH OF THE MONTH ANNOUNCEMENT:
Youth of the month
is an incentive used at all sites to encourage our
members to go above and beyond. They are selected
by vision leaders and site directors for displaying
outstanding participation, positive attitudes and
overall meeting the mission of the Boys & Girls
Club. These members are then rewarded by being
taken to lunch by our CPO, Skip Wilson and Director of
Operations, Lance Patterson on one of the days they
are out of school. Members are chosen monthly
and the current winners are listed below::

What the Club means
to me:
The club is a fun
place where you can hang out with friends and talk
and also a place where I can do my homework too. I
also like getting a chance to have time away from my
little brother and sister. It is also a place where
I can have help with spelling words by playing games
and winning prizes. The sports we do like
basketball and football keep my body going and give
me exercise.

A place to Relax,
to hang out with friends. It’s a great place to
realize what you want to do as an adult. I’m proud
to be a Boys & Girls Club member. It’s a big part
of my life. I have made spectacular friends. I’ve
been a member for 5-6 years. I know this place has
made me a better person.
